After completing Anor Londo and obtaining the Lord Vessel, Dark Souls' level design takes a serious dive. The quest for the Lord Souls lacks the same focus the first half of the Dark Souls, resulting in a lackluster conclusion to what's arguably FromSoftware's seminal work.

Being the final boss of Dark Souls' DLC, Manus, expectedly, is at the very end of the final area in a deep, dark cave. After surviving the sub-areas of Oolacile, you enter the Chasm of the Abyss area, a massive pitch-black cave full of deadly Humanity glowing in the dark. Despite how scary this all looks, it's a fairly straight shot to Manus.

For Manus I'd try equipping at most 50% of your load to get the medium speed roll to make dodging easier! Edit: Havel's ring will help there.
